This homemade linen spray was born out of frustration. After yet another soaked bed from my two-year-old, I realized something: I could change the sheets, wipe the mattress cover, even open the windows, and the room still didn’t feel clean.

So, I mixed up a few simple ingredients I already had at home. I started spraying his mattress cover, then the actual mattress when needed, and it worked. Instantly.

Now I spray it after every change. It keeps the room fresh, the bed smelling clean, and honestly, I even spray it on my bed because the scent is that good.

Room Spray Base 100ml

  • You can find this at craft stores or online

Lavender Essential Oil (10–15 drops)

  • Naturally calming and great for sleep
  • Helps mask and neutralize bad smells
  • Perfect for kids’ rooms and bedtime

Eucalyptus Essential Oil (10-15 drops)

  • Fresh, clean, and crisp
  • Excellent for odor control
  • Helps clear up the air in a stuffy room

Optional: Distilled water or witch hazel (if you don’t have a room spray base.

How to Make It (in under 5 minutes)

Supplies:

  • 1 small spray bottle (150ml)
  • Room spray base (fill 100ml of the bottle)
  • 10–15 drops of lavender oil
  • 10-15 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • Shake well before each use and spray.

How to Use It

This spray is perfect for any fabric you don’t wash every day, including:
